Sheffield Friends of Standing Together vigil, 5pm, Thursday 16 May

The newest chapter of UK Friends of Standing Together, in Sheffield, will hold a vigil supporting calls for a ceasefire, the release of hostages, and an end to the occupation on Thursday 16 May, 5:00-5:30pm, outside the main entrance to Sheffield Town Hall, Pinstone Street, S1 2HH.

Look out for the purple banner. Attendees are encouraged to bring homemade placards, suggested slogans include “Ceasefire Now: Only Peace Will Bring Security”, “Peace and Equal Rights in Israel/Palestine”, “Against War and Occupation: Equal Rights for All”.
